The Week in Menus

Tuesday:  I cooked--Little Caesar's
Wednesday:  Dennis cooked--Stir Fry
Thursday:  Dennis cooked--Black Bean Burritos
Friday:  I cooked--Corn Dogs
Saturday:  Thank goodness Nicole's parents invited us over for dinner!!
Sunday:  Father's Day Dinner with my dad--I made Au Gratin Potatoes and Layer Salad.  Anja made Roast Chicken and Brownies.  Dad made a beautiful Fruit Tray.
Monday:  I cooked--Wendy's

I wonder what delicious meal my poor family has in store tonight?  I'm thinking popcorn--we didn't eat popcorn for dinner once last week!

I just finished figuring out the menus for the rest of the week...I should've waited and read this first. Your meals sound like they'd be right up my alley these days! (Oh, and we had Wendy's on Saturday...)

YUM! Popcorn is the best!!

Back in the day when whoppers were 99 cents BK showed up pretty regularly on the Bennion house menu.

What I will probably have tonight: leftovers.

What I wish I were having tonight: some really good chinese food, which is non-existent in Columbia, SC.

At least you have a good excuse with about 90 million things going on in your life over the last few and upcoming weeks. :) My menu looks similar way too often with few excuses!! I go on cooking binges for about 4 days at a time, every 2 or 3 weeks, and in between um...it's a little rough some nights...

We would totally eat out more if we weren't so picky about what we eat when we eat out. As it is, it ends up costing us $40 or $50 for our whole family (all 3 of us) to eat out, so I feel super guilty if we end up eating out, unless it's for some special reason.

I told Ryan the other day that if I could afford one super-luxury I wouldn't hire a housekeeping service or a lawn service. I'd totally hire a cook. I have a love/hate relationship with cooking. And I hate cleaning up the kitchen, but if the kitchen's a mess it feels like the whole house is a mess. Plus, cooking and cleaning the kitchen come around every day and are therefore more annoying than cleaning the bathroom or vacuuming which only come around every week or so (unless you're in my house now, where the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in two months).

As Kim said, you've got a lot going on right now. You deserve a break from the monotony of cooking!

I. Love. You.

I think I'm going to eat popcorn for dinner right now.

All of those dinners sound amazing right now. Really. If only there was a Wendy's close to our house - you have to go looking for fast food in Seattle!

I love this. Especially the corn dog day.
